Charles Christodoulou: So you want a design that fits in with your garage?
(We haven’t constructed anything yet – we’re still in the design stage. But being a double garage, we don’t need a permit from the council since it’s less than 60 square metres. We just want it to look nice.)
Charles Christodoulou: And your garage will be underneath, is that right?
(Yeah. It’s really just so it looks nice – not for any other reason.)
Charles Christodoulou: Yeah, why not. But okay – try to stick to one of our standard designs without changing it too much, otherwise it becomes too hard for everyone.
(And they’re kit sets, aren’t they? So there are certain specifications.)
Charles Christodoulou: We can change them, but only to a certain extent. Otherwise management will say, “Well, this is no longer one of our standard plans.” Then we have to tell that it’s a custom design, and you’d need to pay five and a half thousand upfront to get your formal plans done, and then probably another $750 for the quote – so over $6,000 in total.
If you use a standard plan, there’s no charge to get a quote.
