How to Find a Local Carpenter for My Kit Home

Visit Bunnings Timber Department

Go to your nearest Bunnings store and head to the timber department – many staff members are ex-carpenters who may be available for work or can provide recommendations.

Use the Bunnings Notice Board

Create an A4-sized notice (not a small card) with:

  • “Wanted: Carpenter”
  • “Willing to pay top rates”
  • Your contact details

Join Local Facebook Groups

If you’re new to an area, local Facebook groups can be helpful for finding recommended tradespeople, even if you’ve previously avoided social media.
