Do Owner-Builders Still Receive a Warranty with iBuild Kit Homes?

Table of Contents

Charles Christodoulou: Yes. You would get warranties – let’s say, just hypothetically, we got some windows and they’re faulty. There’s a leak in one of the windows, the rubber seal’s not working or installed incorrectly, then you take it up with iBuild and they will work it out with the supplier and change the window.

Building as an Owner-Builder?

Here's What You Need to Know About Warranties

If you’re planning to build your kit home as an owner–builder, you might wonder if the warranty still applies. The good news? Yes — it does. iBuild will honour your warranty even if you’re managing the build yourself.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

If one of your windows leaks or the rubber seal fails due to a defect, you can raise the issue with iBuild. They’ll contact the supplier directly and organise a replacement. You won’t need to sort it out on your own.
