Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2026 - draft for iBuild / legal review before publishing
These terms and conditions govern the iBuild 12 for 12 Milestone Competition. By entering, you agree to them.
1. The promotion
1.1 The 12 for 12 Milestone Competition (the Competition) is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
1.2 The promoter is Levi Pty Ltd as trustee for the iBuild Trust, ABN 77 579 054 898, trading as iBuild Building Solutions, of Eastern Innovation, 5A Hartnett Close, Mulgrave, Victoria (the Promoter, iBuild, we, us).
1.3 Entry is via the Competition page at i-build.com.au/12for12.
2. Competition period and rounds
2.1 The Competition runs across two rounds:
- Round 1 - entries from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026; judging on 12 January 2027; six winners announced.
- Round 2 - entries from 1 January 2027 to 30 June 2027; judging on 12 July 2027; six winners announced.
2.2 Twelve winners are chosen across the year in total. All times are Melbourne, Victoria time. Dates are subject to confirmation of the campaign launch date.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who have entered into a Preliminary Design Agreement (PDA) or a kit home supply contract with iBuild.
3.2 Where photos include a person under 18, the entrant must be the parent or legal guardian of that person and must provide consent for their inclusion via the checkbox on the entry form.
3.3 Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, and the judges, are not eligible to win the major prizes.
4. How to enter
4.1 To submit a valid entry, you must, during a round:
- upload at least 12 high-resolution photos (JPG or PNG, minimum 2 megapixels each) of your iBuild home, including at least three photos featuring you or your family (pets welcome) smiling in front of your home; and
- grant iBuild the media licence described in clause 6, permitting iBuild to use your submitted photos and any video across its website, social media, press and marketing; and
- provide the requested contact and delivery details and accept these terms and the Privacy Collection Notice.
4.2 The media licence in clause 6 is a condition of entry. An entry submitted without granting the licence is not a valid entry and will not receive a Celebration Pack or be judged.
4.3 If you have not yet started building, you may submit photos of yourself pointing at or standing on your vacant block in place of the in-front-of-home photos. All other requirements still apply.
4.4 Each valid entry is submitted as one entry into judging. See clause 8 for bonus entries.
5. Photo and video requirements
- Minimum 12 photos per entry; maximum 20 photos per submission. Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG. Maximum 10MB per file and 100MB per submission.
- An optional video may be included (MP4 or MOV, at least 120 seconds, maximum 500MB).
- You must own the photos and video you submit, or have the right to submit them and to grant the licence in clause 6.
6. Media licence (condition of entry)
6.1 By entering, you grant iBuild a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, communicate and display the photos and any video you submit, together with your first name and the suburb and state of your home, across iBuild's website, social media channels, MapView, press and other marketing materials, for the purpose of promoting iBuild and its products.
6.2 You confirm that each identifiable person in your photos or video (or their parent or guardian, if under 18) has consented to this use.
6.3 You may ask iBuild to stop using your content in future materials by contacting us. On withdrawal, iBuild will cease further publication and review materials already published using your content; withdrawing the licence may also withdraw the related entry from any judging not yet completed. Withdrawal does not require return of a Celebration Pack already dispatched.
7. Rewards
7.1 Celebration Pack. Every valid entry receives one $120 iBuild 12-Year Celebration Pack, dispatched within 12 weeks of the entry being verified. Limit one Celebration Pack per entrant, regardless of the number of entries submitted.
7.2 Major prizes. Twelve prizes of a $1,000 gift card are available across the Competition ($12,000 total) - six per round. Gift cards are redeemable at participating Australian retailers and are subject to the gift card issuer's terms.
7.3 Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable, iBuild may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
8. Judging
8.1 Every valid entry is judged. A panel of five judges - the Managing Director, the Marketing Lead, the Customer Engagement Specialist, the Head of Project Delivery, and one independent judge - scores each entry.
8.2 Each judge scores each entry out of 20 against five criteria: photo quality and composition; authenticity and warmth; storytelling of the build journey; showcasing of the iBuild home; and creativity. The maximum score is 100. An entry's final score is the arithmetic mean of the five judges' scores.
8.3 The highest-scoring entries win. As this is a game of skill, no random element is used at any stage. Ties are broken first on the authenticity and warmth score, and then on the earliest submission timestamp.
8.4 Bonus entries: every additional set of 12 photos, or a video with at least 120 seconds, counts as a further entry into judging, up to a maximum of 12 entries per customer across the Competition.
9. Winner notification and claim
9.1 Winners are notified by email and phone within five business days of the judging date for their round.
9.2 To claim a prize, a winner must attend a 12-minute online call (Google Meet) with the iBuild team. The claim window is 12 weeks from the date of notification. The gift card is issued within 14 days of the call.
9.3 The call is a celebratory conversation and may, with the winner's separate consent, be used for a testimonial.
9.4 If a prize is not claimed within the claim window, iBuild may re-judge the remaining eligible entries within 14 days to select a replacement winner (one second-chance re-judging per prize).
10. Privacy
10.1 iBuild collects personal information to run the Competition, verify eligibility, dispatch Celebration Packs, contact winners and use content in line with clause 6. iBuild handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and the Privacy Collection Notice provided at entry.
10.2 Entry data is retained for three years after the Competition closes and then de-identified or deleted, except that winners' data is retained for seven years for tax and audit purposes.
11. General
- iBuild may verify eligibility and may disqualify any entry that is incomplete, does not meet these terms, or involves fraudulent or misleading conduct.
- iBuild may vary, suspend or end the Competition where necessary, subject to any applicable law.
- To the extent permitted by law, iBuild is not liable for any loss arising from participation in the Competition. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
