Initially exploring traditional builders and even considering container homes, Morris sought a solution that balanced social responsibility, affordability, and efficiency. His journey led him to iBuild after seeing a TV program about housing shortages, which sparked his interest in kit homes solutions.

With a clear vision and council pre-lodgement endorsement already achieved, Morris is collaborating with iBuild to design three to four units on his corner block in Hoppers Crossing. Leveraging Basecamp for streamlined communication, he remains actively involved in the planning process while drawing on his professional background to guide decisions.
The project is currently in the design and approval stage, with plans to move to delivery and construction at a pace aligned with Morris’s financial and strategic goals. He has even considered phasing the build – developing two units at a time – depending on market conditions and budget outcomes.
