Dave & Linda’s Two-Storey Vision
After years of thinking about it, Dave and Linda are finally moving ahead with a two-storey, two-bedroom, two-bathroom extension to their home in Tawonga South, Victoria. The idea took shape as their daughter moved out and they began planning a swimming pool – the perfect time to create a more welcoming and versatile space.
They wanted the extension to serve multiple purposes: a place for family, friends, and future grandkids to stay, as well as a self-contained area they can rent out when travelling. Living in a tourist town – recently crowned Victoria’s best small tourist town – they knew demand would be strong. The custom design also completes their original vision for the house, giving them a space to enjoy for decades to come.
Choosing iBuild came down to Dave and Linda’s need for a custom design that would fit seamlessly with their existing home, comply with bushfire requirements, and include support with permits. They also valued iBuild’s ability to handle almost every stage – from refining the design to delivering materials – all in one place.
