iBuild Building Solution became a part of the 3rd Modular Construction and Pre-Fabrication ANZ 2018 conference which was a 3-day event in Melbourne. The conference was joined by 5 prominent firms such as Hickory Group, Rothelowman Architects, MasterBuilder Victoria, and Victorian Building Authority and include iBuild Building Solution.

CEO of iBuild, Jackson Yin was part of the discussion among other important delegates within the industry. Modular Age Care Project in Ballarat enabled iBuild to participate in the 3rd Modular Construction Conference in ANZ.

The conference focused on the industry’s best practices with new innovative techniques and technology. Besides pointing out the best practices in each company, the conference exhibition included automation construction technology. They also showcased innovation such as the highlighted 3D printing for modular construction, Robotics bricklaying, welding, and concrete dispensing.

Furthermore, the conference also highlighted discussions about the next step toward the Victoria education infrastructure. This was due to the forecasted growth of 175,000 students in 2030 for schools, early childhood, and university.

During the conference, Jamie Coe (Business Development Manager – Hutchison Builders) mentions that the current modular industry has grown to  AUD2.7 billion per year. As CEO at iBuild, Jackson Yin was part of the conference that evaluated the new challenges and opportunities in prefabrication.

He also highlighted the steps that should be taken toward unpredictable change.

As a result of being part of the conference, iBuild was able to bring out the strength and opportunities of our company such as the Modular Age Care Project in Ballarat within the presence of important delegates within the industry.
