IBUILD INNOVATION SHOWCASE

On 25 November 2020, over a four-hour period, 135 guests spent on average 114 minutes learning about some of the most technically innovative organisations in the world at the inaugural Monash Precinct Innovation Showcase event.

iBuild joined 16 other sector-leading organisations that are delivering innovation in their fields, including CSIRO, Monash University, ANSTO Aust Synchrotron, Nissan Motor Co. (Australia), PPG Industries Australia Pty Ltd, and Cabrini Technology to present iBuild’s innovation achievements.

iBuild’s innovation attracted a high level of interest from a number of enterprises and government agencies.

The Monash Precinct Network is being developed for leading companies to connect and engage with each other and link in with institutions, education providers and government.

Hosted on the Zoom platform, each exhibiting company gave two 15-minute presentations to showcase their innovation achievements. iBuild showcased innovations in modular building prefabrication bringing about stronger, smarter, and faster building solutions, including

  • Reservoir Train Station Project
  • Ballarat Aged Care project
  • Brighton East Social Housing Project

RESERVOIR TRAIN STATION

Thanks to the ingenuity of the engineers at iBuild, the team piloted and developed an unconventional loading method via forklift, an Australia first. During the project, iBuild utilised a heavy duty forklift, the only such one in Australia, to successfully load and install all building modules into place with accuracy.

BRIGHTON EAST SOCIAL HOUSING PROJECT

BALLARAT AGED CARE PROJECT

In partnership with Equisent Group, we expanded  The Ballarat Aged Care Facility to allow for an extra 56 beds and 2000 sqm. Through the use of our modular construction method, the assembly of the project was completed in just 2 days.
