Why Duncan Chose iBuild
Duncan Glogowski-Watson is building a Belgrave granny flat on his property in Hamilton Hill, Western Australia. The goal is simple and smart – to generate rental income that helps pay down the mortgage, while adding long-term value to the property.
Having done his research, Duncan compared several kit home providers across Australia.
One east coast company offered a similar service, he noted, but required materials to be shipped cross-country from their warehouse, leading to significantly higher delivery costs. He also found that some WA-based suppliers were smaller in scale and only offered kits up to lock-up stage, without the flexibility he was looking for to complete the build to a complete finish.
